I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but I crashed my bike pretty badly this evening (I feel luck to not have a broken bone or two) and the only damage to my bike is the seat is all bent up and there's a matching mark on my arse. Can't say I've ever seen that before?

New one to me, too -- consider yourself lucky the impact didn't dislodge the seat first, you'd resemble a felon.

I don't currently have a camera (ok 35mm film doesn't count) but picture the seat, bent into an arch much like a banana, then off to the side by about 20 degrees as well. The post and all the hardware ended up being fine and I replaced it this morning with seat off a Specialized.
