I have a heavily modified trek xo1, a cheap single speed mountain bike I built from parts on ebay, and I'm starting to save up and grab the parts to build up a new bike, I'm planning on a cervelo s1 frame with sram rival components. Once I get that one built I'll convert my xo1 back into a cross bike.

I'll post some pics when it's done, but it might be a while before I can afford everything.

I do love ebay for finding some cheap part, just grabbed a pair of brand new 09 sram rival shifters for $275, but I learned the hard way with that mountain bike to figure the parts you want first then look for deals instead of just grabbing random components based only on price

I am on a Cannondale F4 mountain bike. I am getting back into the sport for the exercise and as Doc stated it is a very good budget bike right out of the box. I change the saddle to a Serfas gel that has made it even that much better.

You have to go up in order to come down. Why is the up part always so steep?

Started off on a Specialized Hardrock that i still have, but which has had everything but the frame replaced (and that will be replaced with a Santa Cruz Chameleon frame soon enough), but now I also own;

Intense 5.5 EVP trail rig (all the goodies, XTR, Fox TALAS RLC 32 QR15 fork, I9 Enduro wheels)
Intense Fenix road bike (Super Record 11, DT Swiss wheels built by Joe Young)

The Fenix is a very limited production bike, it's almost identical to a Pinarello F4:13 but it doesn't have the funky fork and seatstays (or the Biblical reference), Intense built it for one year and then decided to go back to focusing on mountain bikes.
