I am hoping to challenge all Two Spoke members to participate in an outdoor winter riding event. Winter offers many obstacles keeping cyclist indoors. Whether it is cold temperatures or short day light hours its sometimes difficult to get outside to ride.

I am challenging the Two Spoke community to ride 10,000 miles begining 12/01/12 thru 2/28/13. Every time someone rides outdoors they can post about their ride and the conditions and add their mileage to the total.

I will begin

12/2 21 miles + 0 = 21 total

I'll play. Especially on a day like today when it felt more like spring than winter. With 60+ temps and sunshine, I couldn't resist getting out for a long ride.

12/3 21 total + 30 = 51 total

There will be no pressure to ride. No matter what you ride or how often. Winter can also be dangerous so I am urging everyone to use good sound judgement.
