Yes

What time of day do you usually ride?
Whenever the mood (and ability) strikes

Have you ever been in any accidents? (Traffic or something else?) If so please tell me of your experience.
No traffic accidents on bike yet, thankfully

Are you part of any kind of bike related group or organization?

How do you feel about an interactive website that allows you to log any incidents that would occur while biking in order to help protect your rights as a biker?
Sounds like a good idear

What theoretical project are you going to be managing with this information?

It's a bike related website. I can't say any more or my teacher will scold me.

Do you bike for a living (courier), bike to your workplace or to get from place to place (commuter), or do you solely bike for fun (casual)?
All of the above. I'm not a courier, but I teach people how to ride their bikes without falling off, running into things, or getting hit by cars. If an errand is less than 5 miles, and the weather is reasonable, I bike rather than use the car. And I bike 2,500 to 3,500 miles a year for fun.

Have you ever suffered from injury while riding on a bike?
Yes.

What time of day do you usually ride?
Various times. Mostly in daylight hours. Very rarely at night.

Have you ever been in any accidents? (Traffic or something else?) If so please tell me of your experience.
Had a couple of solo falls due to inattention and/or bad bike handling which ended with road rash, cuts and bruises, but no broken bones. Had a student run into me during a cycling class.

Are you part of any kind of bike related group or organization?
League of American Bicyclists, League of Illinois Bicyclists, Active Transportation Alliance, Association of Pedestrian and Biking Professionals

How do you feel about an interactive website that allows you to log any incidents that would occur while biking in order to help protect your rights as a biker?
Depends on what you mean. I would not be interested in logging or following things like close passes or harassment. I would like to see better real time stats on crashes and injuries. But it would need a lot of detail. The League of American Bicyclists is logging fatalities at http://www.everybicyclistcounts.org/ Bikes Belong has good info at http://www.bikesbelong.org/ but that site is not interactive.

[QUOTE="ChibiAngel86"]This is for a class project. Please help me out and answer the following questions. Just copy the questions below in to your reply and fill in your answer under the question. Thank you so much!

Name John G

Age. 61

Gender. Male

Do you bike for a living (courier), bike to your workplace or to get from place to place (commuter), or do you solely bike for fun (casual)? I formerly commuted to work but am now retired. I mostly ride for pleasure and exercise at this point but do use the bike for daily errands etc.

Have you ever suffered from injury while riding on a bike? Yes

What time of day do you usually ride? Primarily early morning but will ride at any time.

Have you ever been in any accidents? (Traffic or something else?) If so please tell me of your experience. I was hit broadside by a truck in Richmond VA that had run a stop sign. No major or lasting damage but was forced off of the bike for a couple of weeks. Bike was destroyed.

Are you part of any kind of bike related group or organization? Two Spoke, Narragansett Bay Wheelmen. League of American Bicyclist

How do you feel about an interactive website that allows you to log any incidents that would occur while biking in order to help protect your rights as a biker? Sounds interesting. Need to learn more.

Namaste!
