dunno bout Doc, but happy new year, all!
The local club had the annual Chilly Challenge, a 2-hour ride on NYD, including a ringside spot to watch the Polar Bear Club get wet & stupid; the ride ends up with a chili cook-off, about a dozen different recipes. Been going on 15 years now, and the ride has gotten over 120 riders each year for the past several. I missed it, due to three things -- had to work, bad ankle, and 17F temps with 0F windchill. Hobbled around work for six hours, getting little done, and did my little 4 mile RT commute.
