Hunting

I was just curious, having recently heard alot of tales of bicyclists encountering hunters while on the trails, do any of you go hunting on your bicycles?

I hunt but never on my bike. That would add a level of danger that most people would consider inexcusable. I've never encountered a biker while hunting though. The majority of the hunting I do is on private property and I would hate to miss or shoot through something then have it hit a cyclist that I didn't even know was there.

Never had that issue and I live Deep in the Heart of Texas.

Bike hunting is not for me, however Helicopter hunting might be fun.

In Australia, they drive you around in the back of a ute, (like an El Camino) and let you jump out and stab a wild pig with a knife.

Perhaps. They don't look friendly.

I have in the past carried a slung rifle or shotgun on my bike while going a couple miles while hunting. Haven't lately.
