Pretty interesting read about Lance Armstrong and health insurance while battling cancer.

I didn't get very far. The writer appears to have a crush on Lancey.

To say the least. Who likes Armstrong? Anybody? I respect him as an athlete but as a person he's terrible. I was given his book when I discovered my lump, and it made me dislike him even more. He's to self serving.

Yea it's a so-so article but I found it interesting in regards to how he was hired just for health insurance.

The turning point for me was when his mum showed up at Interbike to sell her book.

Article was written in May 1998, before his Tour wins.

Didn't realize he was that well off before he got his first Tour win, seems he has always been quite an entrepreneur.

Ya, the true secret to success is shameless self promotion. Skill is a plus. All successful people have there detractors.
