People in the Gulf

Anyone in the Gulf coast, has the oil slick actually reached the shores? Get conflicting reports from the news media.

Sad situation there either way!

And out fearless leader sat and waited! I generally feel bad for them down there, they cannot get a break!

But its ok, BP posted a 6.1 billion QT Earning report........well we know they have the money for a clean up....but it will be another half butt job like EXXON did in AK back in "89. They are still trying to recover from that mess over 20 years ago!

I haven't heard anything new on it, but on PBS last night they were talking about the Governator now being opposed to off shore drilling in California. Those folks are going to be broke forever.

I read it's going to take months to cap it. They can't just ignite some explosives at the well head?
