Real quick. I decided I wanted to upgrade my bike this year. Rode lots of bikes and basically came down to 2 bikes that I liked most. A Gary Fisher(Trek branded for 2011) Cronus Pro and a Trek Madone. The 2011 Madone 5.5 won. The ride was just a bit more compliant than the Cronus. I think the Cronus would have won if I raced..it seemed to want to get up and go a tad quicker. The chain stays on the Cronus are massive ! It took no time at all to feel comfortable on the Madone where the Cronus required some fiddling with different seats and things to feel just right ! Take'n the Madone out for the maiden voyage this morning. Picked it up last night late and have to go back for a proper fit today after the ride.
