Smiley, is your saddle one of the woman's saddles?

I know there is the "Terry" saddle for woman and I don't know about more.

I think what type of bike you ride will make a differnce in the saddle , like I ride a comfort bike mainly ,I ride in the up right position so that will make a differnce with all the weight 244# on my sit bones. I am looking for a new saddle allso

Brian,
For a classic look, I'd go with either a swift, professional or B17 variant.
I'd do the swift if I were looking for a 'lighter' saddle. If I wanted a truly classic look
I'd put a B17 Swallow on it.
The other choice would be Selle San Marco regal, comfortable, light and classic look.

Yes it was. I tried one of the "Terry" saddles, and if I recall properly, that is the one that I knew would not work before I rode it out of the parking lot. I have talked to other women and they just love the Terry Butterfly, and others that hate it.

Find one? In the market for a new saddle as well. Back to the daily commute and looking for something that hits a little different.

Definitely right about the sit position determining the saddle type. For a city/comfort type bike the Brooks Conquest with springs is a really nice choice. Actually Brooks makes quite a few models with springs for men and women... the B 66 is wider and also very nice.
The problem is that with this type of bike you maybe use it for commuting, shopping, errands etc. that means the bike probably gets left outside once in a while and then a nice saddle will at best get rained on and at worst get stolen... something to think about.
