Yea, I was able to get it at a amazing price this last December since it was old-new stock from 2011.

Here's my 2012 Specialized Allez with Sram Apex components. This was taken on the day I brought it home. The black plastic pedals have since been replaced with Shimano pedals and I added a water bottle cage (sweet, I know). The reflective bits have also been removed too.

And the weight! One of my LBS's has a CADD 10 in a brushed aluminum finish with a 105 group that really feels lighter than my CF Colnago with an Ultegra group.

Might want to ask that question in the Vintage forum, if you haven't already done so.

That's a pretty sweet ride for a reasonable amount of money. I will keep this one in mind - I want to purchase a new road bike for the summer.

How do you like the SRAM apex components - I replaced my 105 with an apex set - love it !

I test ride the RoundTail Diamanté yesterday in Cincinnati, OH. I'm going to work on writing a review on the bike shortly. Very nice and comfortable ride.
