Picked up this wheel set shimano r500. Not what I would choose but for 50$ with new tires and a 105 cassette I figured I can always upgrade these later. Plus they are basically take offs hardly ridden. Have all the parts for a 7800 DA group. I'm super excited for this one. Just time to find a seat.

Looks like it's coming together nicely, Curly! Can't wait to see the finished bike.

Looks great! I would probably go with a white saddle and white bar tape to match up with the Cannondale logos.

Nice Cannondale. I have one that looks very similar. Its a
CAAD 4 though. I can't kill it. Nothing on it is the same as when
I bought it except the headset, frame, and forks. Not the
most comfortable frame in the world but stiff and strong,
great for climbing even without a oversized bottom bracket.
Looks like you have the same Easton bars I have too.
when I last stopped adding parts to this one I had DA shifters,
SRAM compact crank, DA cassette, ultegra front/rear derailleurs,
Ritchey stem, fizik seat, (mostly from Ebay), and mavic open
pro rims with Chris King hubs. Will definitely outlive me, not that that is
saying much.

Looks as if it's coming together quite nicely. I too would go with the white tape, cable housing and saddle combination and possibly change the bottle cage to white.
