New or used, road bike?

Looking at buying a 2016 specialized allez with sofa components or a 2012 GT carbon pro with ultegra components or a 2007 Scott pro cr1 with ultegra components. The used bikes appear to be in great shape. Thoughts & advice would be great. Thanks

Ride them all and see which one you like best. If you subscribe to the belief that carbon has a usable life span you may consider or re consider the older CF frame bikes

I bet a bike with "sofa" components is comfortable.

New or used? My reply to this is a used bike holds it's value better.

Whatever rides best and is most fun to ride. Used is fine.

Whichever fits best and turns you on. Make sure the used bike fit you correctly. That's important for a road bike especially. Have fun.
