I have a Scott Sportster P6 2010 hybrid and now I'll be moving to my brother's community which is a biking comunity. My bro and his group of friends all use road bikes and I will be the only 1 riding a hybrid, should I trade the hybrid for a road bike to blend in with the crowd?

Do you have to give up the hybrid in order to get a road bike? I believe you can never have to many bikes!!!!!

I have a medical problem (epilepsy) and it has affected my working capabilities hence income is not great, so 1 bike is all I can afford?

I would use what you're comfortable with. If you think you'd be equally as comfortable test a few road bikes see what works for you. Ultimately it's about having fun.

I understand...I have to agree with others that its all about riding what your the most comfortable with. The fact that you are getting out and riding is the most important thing.
