Yesterday was the biggest ride I did with the bracelets. A DC Randonneurs 200K brevet with a rare (never before?) start in the city so I could get there without a car. After that ride I rode a few miles of the annual 50 States ride, that includes part of everyone of DC's avenues named for a state, every state has an avenue named after it. You've probably heard of Pennsylvania Ave for example. I took the long way home on the Anacostia River Trail for a total of 159 miles. Pics of me on the brevet and at the after party.

Sunday I rode with my friend to her club's boathouse, then I worked a little on my "ride every road" project (to ride every road, and alley!, in DC) while she rowed in an eight. On the way home we checked out the giant lily pads at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens.

I love your spirit and perspective, Q! Thank you for bringing us along for the ride. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!

My eighth longest ride today. David's longest. Pictures of David getting 170 fast and loose.
