I know that everyone's body fits uniquely to there own saddle but I'm just curious of what kind other people use, perhaps favorite brands, models, etc.

good thread, because I know nothing about saddles.
and I'd love to hear some alternatives or suggestions for a different saddle.
I tend to go numb (pointing down) down there.
I know it could be a cockpit error/adjustment.... seat height, handlebar height etc... but might it not be a saddle thing too?

I currently rock a Bontrager Evoke 1 on my MTB and a Bontrager Affinity on my RoadRide

I use older style Selle Italia Flites w/gel inserts on all my freeride and cross country bikes.I have to NOS left in the basement and when they're gone I'm on the hunt for a new saddle because the new Flites are completely different.

I have the stock Specialized Riva on my Roubaix. It's pretty comfy to me. I really like the cut out section.

I am lucky. I have comfortably used every stock saddle on every bike I have owned.

I tried all the Specialized and Fizik road saddles, but none did it for me.

My LBS owner handed me a Fizik Gobi XM MTN bike seat and I never looked back.

The saddles I mentioned above are the stock saddles my bikes came with... I guess I am missing your point.

i have a schwinn 8 ball on my road bike (it came on it, the green saddle)

and a bontrager on my hybrid, no idea what model. i like it a lot better then the other bike's saddle though and am going to switch the road bike to a bontrager also sometime in the future.

its funny because i liked the schwinn seat until i tried this one. i got it out of the clearance bin at the LBS because i had a gel seat on the hybrid and that sucker was just not cutting it. i got it for something like 12 bucks. i check the bin every time i go in now but all the other bontrager seats are 75 or something bucks (and are in the clearance bin!!!)

I replied with my post. I use any saddle that comes on my bike. I am lucky.
