Pro Logo Kappa Pas was great until it wore out. . . .
Went with a Selle Italia Max Flight/Flight Max and haven't looked back...
Tried out the loaner/tester Selle Italia Flight, preferred the relief channel on the Max more.
Caveat is that since the relief channel is so big, fit is crucial or else (at least in my exerpience as well as others that I know with the saddle) it feels like you're falling in the channel.

Sometimes a headwind is really a tailwind, and sometimes a tailwind is really a headwind, to your development. Deep Thoughts.

Wow, that's a beautiful looking saddle.
I'll think about one, if one of mine poos its self.

Yeah, and it's super comfortable! I was amazed that they got it so right with that one.

After a few tries with some "highly recommended" and more expensive saddles. I found that the one that works best for me is the Specialized Avatar. I have Avatars on both my road and touring bike and haven't had a bit of discomfort even on 6+ hour rides.
Something else that helps a lot is an accurate sit bone measurement. Specialized dealers have an ingeniously simple "assometer" that is a piece of memory foam on a board. You sit on it in cycling shorts for a minute or so in a forward leaning position similar to the upper body position you would have on a bicycle if both feet were at the 3 o'clock position at the same time. You stand straight up quickly and the memory foam holds the impressions from your ischial tuberosities, aka sit bones, long enough for the tech to accurately measure the distance between the pressure points. I found out that as a clyde, I had been using a wider saddle than was actually needed based on my skeletal structure.
I am not promoting Specialized per se (I actually ride two Treks) and I'm sure that there are other brands out there that are also good. I just wanted to point out that just like bikes, proper fit for you is more important than price or popularity.

I run only two different saddle models between my bikes. On the race bikes I have WTB Deva seats, and on the Raleigh and Trek I have Bontrager saddles, though I'm not sure what model. I'm more a fan of the WTB as I don't feel like I'm sitting lower and in it like the Bontrager, so I'll probably pick up more WTB's for those bikes.

That would be my upgrade for a later date saddle.
