Anyone Ride Shimano M324 Pedals?

As the Title says does anyone ride Shimano M324 Pedals? LBS wanted $85.00 for them today. I just couldn't bring myself to spending that much but loved the form and functionality of them.

Plus I just found you can get them on Amazon for $47.00 & Free Shipping to boot!

http://www.amazon.com/Shimano-PD-M324-Clipless-Clip-Pedals/dp/B001AT33CW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1353784956&sr=8-1&keywords=shimano+m324

I like the idea of having Flats and Clipin/Clipless Pedals.

Lets hear your gripes or praises of these pedals.

TIA!

Or campus pedals for 29 bux on sale! Performance house brand, can't beat it.

I have a pair of each for a hybrid and a set for my dad. The Forte are 1/2 the weight for what it's worth

^^ Those actually look like they are better built too! I just can't spend any more money on bike stuff until after xmas. I'm trying to get a list together of things to buy with my xmas funds. I was looking at the Forte' flats a few days ago.

Well thanks for posting those Rola, now I have more options. I still can't believe my LBS wanted $80.00 for those darn things. They were supposed to be having some sales today too They did have several riding shoes for 50% off but still at 50% they still wanted 70-80 bux.

I use them on two of my bikes and love them. Granted, I have gotten some ridicule from some other riders, but these pedals work great for me. I ride in town as much as I do out on the county roads and trust me, it can be very handy at times to be able to ride unclipped. From being able to ride on stop and go city streets to being prepared to kick the crap out of the annoying dog nipping at my ankles out in the country I wouldn't want a different pedal. Hope they work as well for you!

Well i'm debating I might do the Forte's since they are a little better built and lighter. I'll have to see. I haven't seen a pair of shoes in my price range that I like yet. If anything i'll get them and ride on the flats until I can afford some shoes.

However one guy mentioned that I get the shoes first and then get the pedals.

If they will install your cleats and assist you in aligning them, it may be worth the extra cash.

True. They'd probably look at my bike and laugh me out of the store though. We'll see after I get my Yearly Bonus and Xmas rolls round. I need to try a pair on at least to see what I like.

First time I went in there I was impressed. 2nd time I kinda felt prey'd on or rushed. The pedals I liked were 85bux and I went home and found them for 40ish on Amazon. Maybe that's what kind of chapped my butt. I'm not sure.

I bought me a pair of Specialized gloves in there Sat. They were pricey but man are they nice!

Maybe you do get what you pay for with gear as well. I'm just kind of a tight wad. I want to get the best deal possible and I'm not afraid to look for it.
