Cannondale F7 HardTail to 29er

Anybody know if it is possible to convert my existing 2009 F7 hardtail with front and rear disc brakes to a 29er? Would all I need to do is buy a new wheelset (29inches) and tires? Any issues I may encounter? It currently has a front shock fork (100mm) on it with lockout. Thanks in advance.

The big issue will be is there enough space in the rear for a 29" tire. Same for the forks will the 29" rim, and tire fit.

One option if the rear won't fit a 29" tire would be to make a 69er. Use your 26" rear and replace the front forks to fit a 29" rim and tire. You will have the advantage of the 29" front tire when it comes to going over stuff.

It may not be worth it in the end to you. Maybe look into a frame and fork that will fit 29" tires and transfer the components from your current bike. Then sell the old frame and fork to recoup some of the money you spent on the new frame and fork.

You have to go up in order to come down. Why is the up part always so steep?

You could also try a 650b.
