"Franken-Fargo" - 37% grade climb!

It's a smooth concrete paved pathway measuring 274 feet long, and gains a whopping 102 feet! Same grade from bottom to top. Only thing is, you CAN'T traverse since it's only about 3 feet wide! You must ride it straight up.

I've been there twice, and the first time I tried it, I lost momentum halfway up and stalled out. It probably didn't help that I was running a heavy 3" wide tire and 65mm Large marge rim! This time I used the same lightweight Kenda K-rad and lighter drilled rim that I used for my Fargo climb. Oh, btw, I used a rather unconventional "cycle". Did I make it?

Here's the video:

Thanks guys, yeah I didn't think I had anything left in the tank, but when the guy showed up at the end of my first climb, and offered to film me--I either had to do it right then, or wait for him to come back in an hour (lol) -- I decided to go for it!

Lately I've been doing this climb in palos verdes. The local road bikers refer to it as, "the big one". It stretches for 3.2 miles and hits grades close to 17%. It's a lung buster!
