Help! Truvativ Isoflow Crank

I've had my bike 2 days now and the "non-ring" side of my Isoflow crank came off. It looked easy enough to put back on but it won't slip on all the way so that I can insert the bolt and tighten it down. Is there a trick? Please let me know. Thank you.

Is that a square taper or splined interface like ISIS?

It does use a powerspline BB. It should be pretty straight forward. Just line up the splines opposite of the drive side and it should push on far enough to start the bolt. Sometimes you have to spin the bolt the opposite direction (loosening) and then start to tighten. Sometimes you have to fiddle with it a little bit, but it shouldn't be that hard.

The Isoflow came with both a square taper or the powerspline bb interface. If it is a powerspline, it's very likely that the splines on the crankarm were damaged when the arm became loose on the bottom bracket. If that's the case, it may be repaired with a small file. Otherwise, replacement is the only fix.
