Anyone else using the MagicShine light for your night time trail rides?

I have the MagicShine on my bars and a NiteRider Mini Newt on my helmet and am really enjoying the performance from both of these products, especially the MagicShine.

Yup, I have Magicshine that I use on both the Trek and the V3. No problems so far. I tend to run mine on medium, just because that has been plenty of light.

The only problem reported so far with the Magicshine is that the battery pack isn't waterproofed. Not a problem unless one is commuting in the rain, or puddlejumping at night.

There is a thread over on BROL about waterproofing the battery set.

My niggly little issues with the MagicShine are when the light is helmet mounted securing the battery pack becomes an issue and the SOS mode doesn't actually send SOS. Other than that the light is very good, especially for the money. It's not as nice as the Ay-up or Dionette systems but still very good indeed.
