Should be picking this up tomorrow for free.

I've been chatting it up with a local guy that loves bikes on www.mtbr.com He saw that i'm really wanting to get into riding and decided to build me a bike out of the kindness of his heart out of spare parts he had lying around.

He doesn't want anything for it other than 5 bux for the SRAM chain link he used so he has a spare. I'm thinking this is pretty darn cool myself.

It's kind of a frankenbike but it has some SRAM x4 stuff on it.

1x7
110 BCD 34t
Cranks are RaceFace Turbines (I think), and the BB is just an old square-taper that was already in the frame.

Silverwhite Richey SPD Pedals on it too

Enjoy...

Ya i'm pretty pumped about it. My current bike needs some TLC. I think the rear hub bearing is going or something it has alot of play.

I'm actually looking into getting a mountain bike as a project. I would love to hear how she compares to your other ride! which I think is also a mountain bike right?

Welp i picked her up and didn't get robbed. Frame is huge and the cross bar hits me in the jimmy when i stand over it. We'll see how this works out. Going to LBS in the morning to pick up some flats and grips.

I have a couple G.t's including an Avalanche 3.0 disc.I put some miles on her.I really like G.t.
Right now my baby is a Cannondale F700 sx Lefty.I would rather lose my cabin then my c.dale.
