I like it.
It does what it's supposed to do, while feeling good while doing it.
Kowa's travel adjust blows everybody else's out of the water, too.
Also picked up one of their inverted GF Airs to install on the bigbike. Looking forward to riding it.

OO, well, Kowa def has experience with long travel, but unfortunately their reputation for available parts has literally killed the brands name outside of the eastern hemisphere. The last kowa fork to his the usa was the way overweighted (think btw Avalanche DH & Avalanche mTn weight) THE "GISM" fork that lasted a single year in the USA. Only 2-3 riders in the continental USA ever ordered them, and it was to various factory team riders. I'm interested in how their new dh stuff is. Unfortunately, inverted forks just don't sell outside of the mass marketed crowd anymore. (Not me tho... I'm going to pick either a set of dorado carbon's or avy dh7's up for my next set of forks).
Take some pics and post em! I absolutely love how inverted forks track compared to regular upright forks, so any pics are always nice to study lol.
BTW, what dealers carry Kowa? If there is any online retailers that sell world wide let me know. I'd be interested in giving a set a run.

Did another "down the mountain" run the other day, pretty sick, and in record time: 3 hours! :P It's 15 miles of single track, our rides are like: "so you wanna ride?" "yea sure" (proceed for 2 miles) (stop) (spend 15 minutes hanging out in the woods) (repeat). good times!

Went on my first real "Trail" ride today! It totally kicked my butt (1000 ft. elevation change in just 1/2 mile of trail) but this really let me know where I am fitness wise. Had to push the bike up the hills more than I liked, but this way I have a goal to blast through on future rides.
Location: Black Diamond Regional Park, Antioch, CA
Trail: Fireroads, single track, and lovely downhills (not to technical just a whole lot of fun)!

Not a MTB trail but it's a 32 mile trail from Mequon WI to Oostburg WI that gives you a little of everything from country to small town riding.

I just ride the dirt roads around here in the winter time on my mountain bike. In the dark. Kinda fun. No traffic to speak of. except for the Amish horse and buggies.
