being that austin is basically the center of the bmx world, i say you have no idea what you are talking about.

and most bmx kids are not on regular bike forums, they are using vitalbmx, bmxonline, and thecomeupbmx just to name a few

Well I live here, and as I have admitted in my other post I am no expert. I see a lot 20 somethings on them but it doesn't have the same exposure as the other types of cycling. Just a perception. That's why I asked in my OP.

In ATX alone are EmpireBMX, T-1, Odyssey and Sunday, Mutiny and Liquor Bikes.

also odyssey's r&d program is housed at sunday. just the offices are in cali now.

bmx is very much alive.look up ababmx.com or uci. My son both races and free styles. we have a redline,a formula and an intense. there is a race site out here in colorado called thebmxdirt

I am a bmxer, or was but I'm wanting to get back into it, I've been mountain biking lately though.. I have a custom pro concept 24" that I race, and a custom dk sob for street/park.
