last time i checked they jumped when they raced.....
that being said, if you are looking for 3pc cranks, find a nice set of chromoly 3pc like redline flights or profiles, they are proven winners... and will probably outlast a set of alloy cranks
Dude, dont ever trust a salesman, unless they have been riding BMX long enough to experience the changes that have been made in BMX parts. If those cranks are cro-moly jump the crap out of them, if alum. be gentle.
It is true Odyssey Blackwidows ARE NOT for jumping they are for race only. They are made of 7075 Aluminum. Witch is stronger and harder than 6061. 6061 is used to make stems pedals seat clamps and breaks MOST of the time. Even though 7075 is more durable than 6061 the Blackwidows I had wear weak at the point of contact on the spindle, I think because it was square. But yes it is true they should NOT be jumped. Trust me I have degree in machine toll.
