Anybody have some good stats on bike lanes?
I'm most interested in how bike lanes can increase ridership. This has happened in San Francisco (
Citywide Bike Network), Philadelphia (
Philadelphia Bicycle News: Early Spruce Pine Results Show Significant Increase in Bike Traffic), Vancouver (
Burrard Bridge Lane Reallocation Trial - Statistics), and New Orleans (
Tulane University - Bike Lane Inspires Riders). Does anyone know of other cities that have experienced similar results?
