Blike Friday! Black Friday yearly social rides

Instead of Black Friday, host a local ride (facebook, meetup, local shop ride, etc) for Bike Friday aka Blike Friday!

I did and had some online friends join in different parts of the country. A shop in Richardson TX hosts a shop ride on Black Friday.

Do your part for Blike Friday, celebrating informed purchases, cerebral conversation, and the great outdoors, instead of mob riots over toasters.

I made my own calendar from notebook paper and an office clip.

I rode in to work and then hauled ass to meet my wife with my sick daughter at the doctor's office.

Longest 52 minute ride of my life and by far my best ascending rates I've ever had.

The saving grace was very little traffic for the majority of the ride to the doc's until I got closer to the shopping centers.
