The legs make up for the shoes. And the legs are nice. Yes skirts are distracting to drivers. Especially on windy days.

Yeah I remember reading about this when it happened. the cop must have been gay, thats the only explanation of reason I have for the whole thing . I dont think women cycling in skirts is hazardous unless they are long enough to get caught in the chain!

Denton? Austin? Where?

Anyway, NY is freaky. I saw this same article somewhere and if I remember right it was religious extremists harassing the woman and other women for "being distracting." I have no problem with women wearing skirts and cycling. Dress for the weather and cover your valuables. lol.

If I saw someone riding a bike naked, big deal. I'd laugh that they were having a good time.

re: #1 Post. What bike is that anyway? I like the interrupted top tube on the frame. That looks stout!

The first one I had was when a friend of mine was being shipped off to Iraq. I was taking him to his recruiter's office for the last time and we smoked a cigar to his departure. Can't say it was the best, but it piqued my interest in them.

Come on down to Tejas. We will scoop funetical (since you two seem to be buds) and go smoke some cigars and drink some decent beer!

I am now rambling when I should be working on other things....

edit: It's a college town! There's girls in teeny tiny skirt and shirts everywhere! If I had ran the light and a cop saw, that would have been my plea.

I must admit a couple of times I rode my commuter to a festival in a spandex skort (shorts underneath the skirt) and I got some looks, but nothing really. Have to admit also that walking around in that was a lot more comfortable than my bike shorts. But, meh, I live in the bike shorts anyway, the skort just gives me an alternative.

I think this law is going to require a lot more study. I am going to need more pictures with which to form my opinion.

You can't stop a lion from chasing a zebra. Can you?

There may be a guy, driving his kids to school, looking at the exposed female body and getting in an accident. The kids could get hurt. Or other people in other cars could get hurt. Don't get me wrong, I love women, and I love sexy women, but men by nature have to look at hot women even if they die doing it.
