Stolen Bicycle
Friday, my Giant Seek 2, was stolen. It was in front of my apartment. I am a Disabled Vet, and depend on it for transportation.

Been there, done that twice. 5 years ago I had a bike stolen off a second floor balcony! To top it off, it was a Schwinn I had purchased from Target.
I second what IH said. Check your local Craigslist and maybe some in other fairly close metro areas, within 200-250 miles.
Saw a Youtube video a while back of a guy who had his bike stolen in Portland and he found his bike on a Seattle CL listing.

I believe I saw that video, did they meet the thief at a super market?

I've been doing that, I've also contacted a number of local bike shops.
Hopefully I'll get a lead. Sadly, if I should find it in a pawn shop Florida law says that I either have to buy it back, or go to court and get a court order forcing them to return it to me.

Sometimes a headwind is really a tailwind, and sometimes a tailwind is really a headwind, to your development. Deep Thoughts.

I just got done lubing the chain getting ready for a ride. It was only out there for five minute or less. A neighbor of mine, my GF, and I think it was an "inside job," meaning it was probably a neighbor of mine. :-(

Thank you, nl. Hopefully, by posting online I'll get a lead on it.
