Depends where you are going really. If you are taking a trip through some populated areas with cell phone service, then you won't need to take blankets and water purifiers. What you definitely need is some:
absorbent compress dressings
adhesive tape
antiseptic wipe packets
aspirin
instant cold compress
Scissors
roller bandage
sterile gauze pads
sterile gauze pads
Tweezers

That looks like a good list. If you need a First aid kit, chances are you will need more than band aids. The only things I would add to this list are a roll of duct tape, and a good bone saw. Maybe a large caliber hand gun??

Seriously though, it is important to be able to stop bleeding. Gauze, tape, compress.

Have fun on your trip.

You guys have forgotten the most important one:

-flask o whiskey

Good as a both a disinfectant, and a sleeping aid for camping on rocks.
Also good for starting a party when you meet the rare hotty on a bike.

My first aid kit:
-duct tape
-crazy glue
-sterilized fishing line, with a hook needle (for stitches)
-whiskey (for cleaning/anaesthetic purposes)

I carry one in my Jeep but not my bike.

Where do you all store your kits at on your bike?
