Tired of doing nothing

So for the past 2 months or so I'll slacked like crazy, though not just to be lazy. Got put on a new work sched. Along with trying to be a very involved father has left me practicaly zero free time. So I've come up with a novice routine to get me back in shape for cycling and raise my Army PT score so hopefully I can get a few more schools under my belt and grab my E-5 after 6 freaking years..
My wife had bought me the UFC Trainer for Xbox Kenect a while back which all I ever did was stick it in the Xbox and see what it looked like on the screen. Also I have been looking at indoor trainers and plan on having one by the end of the week.
So heres my plan:
Monday:30 min of UFC Trainer. Tuesday: 30 min of spinning. Wensday: 15 min of each (sprint on spinning). Thurs: UFC trainer. Friday: Spinning.

then after 2 weeks go up to 45 minutes of UFC Trainer and an hour spinning. I'm planning on this routine for 4 weeks then switching it up..
I'm very open to sugestions and advice. Also lol if anyone cares I'll post updates.

I would suggest putting in a rest day once a week. Not sure what your plan is for the weekends, though.

My weekends consist or playing with the kids or sitting around waiting for work to call

If you need some help putting together training programs, "The New Rules of Lifting" book series is great. As a fellow time crunched dad, these things have helped a lot!

Well started the 30 day strength program on the UFC trainer game today.. Turns out all the work outs are between 20-30 minutes and it has set off days etc. so thats great for me right now. Also not a bad work out, i opt'd out of using weights for day 1, and im really feeling it in my legs and abs.. Think tomorrow ill bust out some light weights on it, and ill just schedule my spinning around this program

Your training plan sounds great.. I personally believe all training methods work if you are stick to you plan.. no slacking around...

I have been using Taoput XT DVD set.. It is extensive training similar to MMA style for 90 days around 14 dvd set. Workouts are around 30 to 45 min.. targets overall body. Along with that.. cycling or sprinting once a week..

Switched to the Nike + program today just bc the software sucked with the UFC program.. Though the UFC program helped as I scored fairly well on the Nike fitness test.. We shall see how much the Nike program does for me in 4 weeks when I take the follow up test

Nice Job! I've too been sir-slacks-alot. Been binge eating terrible after I get home off my shift. I just get the munchies horrible.

I gotta find a program that I can do and stick to. But the first goal is to try one. Ugh my lazyness has overcome me lately.
