"Martyrs don't do much for me
Though I enjoy them vicariously"

I'll be viewing from the sidelines

Signed up for TrainerRoad last night to track the Tour. I guess I'm committed now. Should be...uhhhh...fun?

TrainerRoad has partnered with The Sufferfest for this and are giving away some pretty cool daily prizes.

I might sign up for the 10 day trial closer to the event, but I can't justify the $10 a month as I'm really not on the trainer all that much.

Xela you worded your last post incorrectly. Instead of " I guess I'm committed now" It should read "I should be committed now" But seriously good luck with that, and as always keep us posted..........

Don't forget it starts this Saturday. If you haven't joined TrainerRoad and registered for the Tour on their site, you'll be missing out on the chance for some amazing prizes.

http://www.trainerroad.com/tour-of-sufferlandria

A Wahoo Kickr trainer was also just added to the list of prizes.

I still think next Thursday and next Saturday will be two of the hardest days I will have done on the rollers. Yes, probably even worse than the 100 Miles of Nowhere.

Let's do this!

Just printed my race "number." Now if only this cold/achy feeling doesn't get any worse before tomorrow. I hope it's not the start of the F word.

Day 1 done. http://www.trainerroad.com/cycling/rides/177610 That means, according to my math, I'm 11.1% done.

Stage 2 done. 22.2% http://www.trainerroad.com/cycling/rides/179659 Even decided to throw down a couple of personal bests. Need to be conserving this early.

Tomorrow's stage is going to hurt...a lot! First double vid stage. And it's all TT. Something I'm not good at.

But on a positive note, 217 of the 980 that signed up didn't make the start yesterday, so my odds of winning some prize have gone up. Just gotta finish.
