Whats your week look like on/off the bike?

Hill repeats? Group rides? Gym training? Home workouts? Foam roll post ride? Stretching? Group class of some kind?

Trainer rides in the mornings. Playing with the girls during the day. Weight training in the evenings. Repeat.

I used to ride three times a week with weight lifting throughout the week too. However, since it snowed here in Ohio, I've just been running on the treadmill and lifting.

I workout 6 days a week usually. Mondays are off days, and there's 5 days of riding and a day for plyometrics or core.

I work with a coach, so I don't have to think about what workout as it is just doing it.

Would it be possible to work in another day of hip stability work as an active recovery?

Possibly but I enjoy the day off, it gives me a day to recover from the weekend's efforts.

Mellow day:

Bridges
Planks
Light standing push/pull
Hip and thoracic spine mobility work.

I have my riders train 2-3 days/week in the gym. Not traditional, but it works well.

I have to incorporate my riding in with my gym routine. Most likely commute 3 days this week along with some lifting.
