I considered it until my CFO put a smack down on the idea It was fairly expensive and in the end I couldn't justify it to myself either.
It's probably more than worth it but I have no real goal in mind that I actually need it for. My CFO ( or my loving spousal unit ) did invest in a very nice Bowflex that I am very happy with.

I have nothing on training but I did want to comment to say that I usually call her the "Mistress of Finance." It has a nice authoritative tone to it, CFO makes it seem like I might have some say in the matter.

Went to the park and pushed my daughter on a swing! Rolled out a little and pretty much rested!

Well after being sick and coughing my lungs I felt like riding and got 16 miles in. The weather turn yucky and I've broke down and bought a trainer. I don't like them and find them boring. Running my head through a piece of sheetrock is more fun. Will work it in on my gym program and riding days when the weather sucks. Did get a trail ride in

60 minutes of spinning and intervals on the gym spin bike. Much suffering was had. My playlist was helpful in acting as my timer. The song hooks make for a good interval while the verse keeps me moving at a good clip during cool down.

8th rest day out of the last 10. While I hate it, my body actually feels good. Sometimes you just have to rest!

18 holes of golf (unfortunately, not walking this time -- weather pretty iffy) and 45 minutes of pretty intense spin class.
