No freedom of motion for the pelvis, lumbar spine implications as a result. Plus, on a bike you very rarely push at a 45 deg incline.

Yup, lots going on right now and time is at a premium like it id for everyone. Add to that the fact that it has rained for 2 straight days. I took a couple of pages from the Time Crucnched Cyclist, a few from INTEGRATE and wow, I'm surprised. I have been doing the Bulgarian squats on and off and I can say as you age and mobility and stability start to slip away this is a great exercise for balance as well!

I know INTEGRATE says crunches are wrong but I did some bicycle crunches, lateral lunges - yea they hammies were talking to me, kinda wondering if I did them right or not, and somew squat and jump exercises. Added a few steep ups and feel like for the amount of time and effort got a decent workout.

Keep seeing this time crunched cyclist book being mentioned. Looks like I need to consult kindle.

Rola sounds like a good workout. Add weighted walking lunges for extra suck. I don't go super heavy just enough to add extra effort. Ill also do a butt ton of unloaded lunches to work on balence. The. One legged balence exercises on a bosu.
