30 minutes on the trainer tonight. Started doing intervals and felt like total crap halfway through, so dropped that idea and went for a steady pace for the remaining time.

I'm still overcoming the flu, so by total crap I mean pretty much passing out & puking.

normally after some sort of intervals, my muscles feel like crap, not my stomach

Kettlebellz cardio worklout followed by a 2.4 mile brisk walk. Last mile Kali and I ( my dog ) managed a beautiful 16.57 min/mile avg and I was slowing her down Come summer and the heat and humidity I will have to drag her to get a 25 mim/mile and she will lay down panting begging for a break!

Rola sounds like a good morning.

Did a mile on the eliptical
Then we did some evil things that the trainer conjured up. Some reverse pat pull down while raising my legs and holding balence. Some cable fly thing walking forward standing on one foot and pressing forward. Everything we did was a superset and lots of movement.

Had a good ride yesterday with a local MeetUp group and rode a little hilly 7 mile loop for 85 minutes. I made several PBs and, to my surprise, set a few 2nd and 3rd fastest times on different segments of the popular loop.

The plan is to ride 100 minutes on the trainer with a phonebook up front tonight. 60 minutes being tempo riding, 30 minutes of intervals (3 1/2 hard minutes and 1 1/2 recovery minutes), 5 minutes for "warm up" and 5 minutes to "warm down".

@rola, I've considered getting some kettlebells to get some more variety on trainer and cycling rest days (focus on upper-body/core). Any websites/free videos you find helpful?

Edit: found http://www.twospoke.com/forum/f40/kettlebells-8144/ on kettlebegs. Now to form a few good routines.
