Learned a few new workouts today. All were painful and wonderful. dumb bell rows with my feet on the window sill. They looked easy, but the body has no idea how to not roll over, until the core kicks in.

An hour at spin class doing steady state cadence with periodic standing, maintaining cadence. A lot tougher than it sounds. Last night's class was intense hill climbing out of the saddle, followed by sprints. My quads are feeling it now.

I know what you mean brotha! We did all of that stuff on my beginner class. It is tough!

I shoveled 10+ Inches of snow off my drive. Took 90 mins. Also had to dig my wifes car out of her work.

Went to the Y and met with the Trainer. Very sore today. Did my fitness test then did a whole workout. My main area of concentration is upper body right now.

Are you in a pretty intense phase of riding right now?

No, I just want to work on my core. I can change my target areas at any time. They have ActivTrax to help create you workouts and such. I had to do the fitness test to get a idea on what kind of weights and things I could handle.

My upper body is just alot weaker than my lower. I want to work on getting my gut off and building my arms up and what not. I haven't rode since Monday due to snowmagedon.
