Where to find Solar Powered Bicycle?

Does anyone know where I can get a solar powered electric bicycle and how far they can go on a day's charge? I would like to be able to go cross country more easily, possibly pedaling during the day and going electric at night or vice versa.

How big of a panel would you need to directly power a bike?

What if you had one and it also can be pushed by wind like a sail?

There is not enough surface area on a bike to make solar power possible.

Grow food with solar power. Eat food. Pedal bike!

You could attach it to your pack. I think maybe a body suit would work.

There are also wrist watches that charge themselves based on the movements of your hand...

Yep impossible. They have cars that have large surface area solar panels and the energy from it is enough to run a tiny fan.

Anyhow, the press release for the Canadian developed E-V Sunny Bicycle suggests it is the “first all Solar electric bicycle driven completely from power derived from the Sun’s Rays.”
