Why?
A lot of the maintenance and fuel costs. Let me explain.
I would have to go back through 3 years worth of credit card, debit card and checking account history to try and figure it out. A lot of the records have been destroyed because the accounts are now closed. While we fill up the gas tank every week to week and a half I am not going to try and make a guess at the cost of fuel or maintenance over the past 3 years unless I can easily find the info. to figure the average cost.
For now I will use the $0.62 a mile average. I've got a pretty good feeling if I were to go through all of my records to figure out the averag cost per mile I would be pretty close to the $0.62 a mile.

Well there's a big can of worms. Filling up every week to week and a half? Either your fuel economy is much worse than you claim, or you're driving a lot more miles than you claim. If you're gassing up that regularly, don't you have some idea of what a tank of gas costs you, along with how many miles you've driven on that last tank? I pay roughly $26-$28 every 300 miles.
And I forgot that since you have a Jeep, you have all those extra maintenance costs associated with owning your American made bloat wagon. In the 4 years since I purchased my car, I've had oil changes, a K&N million mile air cleaner, and some new tires. I don't count the 55/100W bulbs or TRD suspension components, as they were only $200, and not a necessity.
