Specialized Secteur v Tricross

This is my first post, so hello! I am in the process of buying a commuter/road bike. I already have a regular road bike, but it doesn't accept a rack and I don't like backpacks. I have about a five mile ride to work with some hills. I may want to hit some dirt roads on the way. Am looking for a bike that will accomodate a rear rack to carry a set of clothes and maybe lunch. I'd like something that I can ride my typical 20 mile lunch loop on. A friend at the bike shop here is getting a new bike with the SRAM Apex group. He is switching that group out and is cutting me a deal, so I just need a frameset. I like the non-quick handling of the Tricross, but Specialized is sold out. Any thoughts on these two bikes or any ideas on better frames. I am also looking at the Ridley Crossbow.

Thanks much for any suggestions.

Great to have ya! Can't offer you much advice on that, but let us know what you decide. Or, you can just walk two doors down to my office and show me.
