Tire Conversion

I have a single speed with nobbies and was wondering if there are any issues with replacing them with street tires (slicks I think they're called)?

nope!

people do this all the time! just make sure its the right size, as you probably know!...but if you MTB tires are like 26x2.1 it is ok to run a 26x1.75 or what not. what tire are ya thinking of using?
