a total beaut of a bike but many of the traders i've spoken to in america say it is too heavy/bulky to ship across the atlantic..

Shipping from the US would cost more than the bike is worth. Have you contacted SE to see if they have a UK distributor?

i sent them an email direct about a week ago but as yet no reply. just thought i'd see if anyone had any ideas.

bite the bullet and ship it :-). i got a bike from the usa and its about 17kg and it only cost me about £170 I think, customs was the real killer, about £400 (the bike was about £1200)
