First Ride for Cancer
We have lost my wifes mother to cancer, my mom has cancer, lost and aunt to cancer. We have done several walks for research but today we did our first ride. We chose the 25 mile distance. Our youngest daughter joined us as well as four of her friends. Neither the chill of the morning, the stiff 15 to 20 wind, the flat tire, or the weel comming lose, could stop us from having a fastastic outing along with a bunch of other folks from our area. Our group wore Live Strong shirts over our warm layers. I can tell you that this was not a race of any sort but the gratification felt great to just participate. I highly recomend it.
