Welcome, Cookieguy! Good to have another newbie on-board. You've come to the right place to learn. Quite a lot of our members started out as rank noobs, including me!

What kind(s) of cycling are you into? We're all about pics of people's rides - everything from top-end Carbon wunderbikes to Craigslist specials. We have members who ride bikes at both ends of that spectrum, and everything in-between.

The best bike ever is the one you ride, regardless of its cost or weight.

I've spent time in the mountains of NC, and would love to get back some time with my bike. The Blue Ridge Parkway is breathtaking, even in a car. I'd love to see it from the saddle.

Welcome!

Welcome aboard. While I hope your bikes comes in soon, sometimes that wait is worth it as it makes taking delivery that much sweeter.

Hang around, share some laughs with the group and enjoy the knowledge that gets passed around.

Well thanks. I did order my bike the other day. I decided to go with the Diamondback Insight heard good things about it plus it fit into the budget. Hope to receive next week and be riding soon.

Great choice, Cookieguy07!

Now, if I were you I'd join the nearest bicycle co-op, so that you can learn all of the ins and outs about the mechanics of your brand new bike.

In the long run, you could potentially save thousands of dollars.
