18 mph going nowhere

road my fixed gear last night for about twenty minutes. Top speed was over twenty, then I wimped out and crawled the last ten.

I tried to do long rides on my hybrid, when it ha straight bars, but with daily wind speeds of 30mph, I had to get something more aerodynamic

I purchased a Trek FX 7.3 in late July 2012. It is lots of fun to ride and a good workout too. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Hey, I agree with you there in a way. That ride above was a flat course the whole way. I should have used my road bike, but I wanted to give my hybrid a bash on this particluar day after some changes. My hybrid is best suited for long, steep mountain-road rides of which I have plenty of to my north. It's very comfortable to climb with.
