I have a mountain bike too but I put road tires on it, so it's sort of hybridized.

Thanks. Old barends that came stock on some high end Cannondale mountain bikes in the 1990s. Named XYZ bars because go in three directions. A friend gave them to me many years ago.

first damn bmx seat r slammed, now there jacked up to hell....WHY???

Put original seat back on, and now sports 28c Specialized Nimbus tires. Rides great.

1st thing I did to it other then different tires at the shop.



Thinking about a suspension fork for the front not sure yet.

My new 2012 Jamis Coda Sport, switched out the "straight bar" for more hybird style 80mm rise alloy bar and added the "stuff"! It's fun bike, it's been a looooong time since I've owned a bike that "likes" to go up hills!
