Your bicycle isn't a motorcycle. Unless you're riding a BMX bike or a bike that's way too small for you, your feet should never be able to touch the ground while you're in the saddle. If you're pedaling and rocking from side to side, your saddle is too low. Take the advice of the previous posters and get your saddle adjusted properly. Not only will the pain go away, but you'll be riding more comfortably and more efficient.

...and the front wheel/fork is backwards. It is supposed to face the other way.

If you are having trouble getting up hills and you are new to riding I'm wondering if you are using your gears. Are you in your lowest gear before you give up and walk your bike up the hills?

Your front fork is on your bike backwards. Pretty easy fix but worth doing for safety.
