Feeling like a newbie all over again.

Took awhile off the bike the last year or so and I think its time to give her a try again. I miss my bike. The last couple of days its been beautiful here (Maine) and ive had her out and about. First day I did 12 miles and the second day around 16. Ive gained some weight over the last year and i sure can feel it. Hopefully this will help me get back into better eating habits also. I am so slow! I will be stopping by here more so I can read all of your inspirational stories and great advice. Looking forward to reading all of your stories and advice.. Thanks

I agree with Wild, it is all about the fun and feeling good! Slow is relative, so worry more about getting on the bike than how fast you get back!

I'm going to feel like a newbie soon. Had surgery on 3-19 and doc said no riding for two weeks. Started bleeding heavily on 3-31 and doc told me on 4-6 two more weeks. Sure am missing some beautiful weather to be out on the bike.
