When Andy was in the military, he had to choose between blue and gray.
Zac, you really need to read up on intervals. Increasing your capacity is what is going to bring those times down.

ya, my kinda girlfriend works at a gym on Lackland and says that she sees, and hears, them doing some of their exercises when she goes for rides around the base. sounds like extreme endurance both mentally and physically is name of game to put it lightly. good luck with everything and thank you for your service!

Hey bob1sh
Welcome to the forums. Glad to hear your takin a step into the blue. Good luck on getting into AFSOC. Some words of advice from the officer side. If you are absolutely set on AFSOC, get in good with your NCOs, SNCOs and Commanders. They'll be the ones to vouch for you when it comes down to putting in your packet and getting letters of rec.
For more prep work, check out SOFWODS.com. They are a world renowned spec ops prep course in North Carolina. It's about $300 for a 2 week course. Not including travel/ airfare. Buddy got back from it and he said it definitely kicked his ass, but he's in the best shape and a better person because of it.

I would suggest to improve your times at your level of fitness think Interval - not distance - through in sprints & hills if they have them in your area - I think I saw you already into endurance - kick up the intervals and your times will come down

What, he is going in the Air Force, they deploy and stay in hotels and drive air conditioned HMMWVs!! They don't really do anything mentally enduring or physical.
Ha ha ha, getting him ready for some intra-branch razzing, ha ha ha. We did some prep training for Saudi with some ari force guys, we love picking on them because their branch has so much extra money for the nice little things that us army guys never got

While I was selecting my branch of choice everyone I know in Army, Navy, Marines said go Blue for that exact reason, "they treat you better". Thanks for your input superj!

No problem man, you are choosing wisely. The second time I enlisted, in 03, I tried to go air force but they didn't take prior service
